Watching the news is bad for your mental health. It floods you with negatives, which wires you to see only the negative. It is designed to keep you in the herd, following the leader. It aims make you angry and frustrated. Has it succeeded?
You have a choice. You can ignore the news. Do not give it access to your eyes or ears. Will people think you are stupid or evil because you don’t know the latest chapter in this fake drama? Maybe. Maybe they think I’m stupid and evil. There are costs to thinking for yourself, but there are benefits too. You decide.
